Personal Finance (Not Investing) • Medicare Part D-2025 $2,000 OOP Limit

As a data point, the two plans in my area with the lowest combined cost, using my medications, both hit the TrOOP limit at something less than $2000; I infer this because the drug cost for December is $0 for both plans. One plan has a premium of $6.30/month and a drug cost of $1585/year: the other has a premium of $86.80/month, but the drug cost is $520/year. All the other plans have drug costs of $2000/year plus premiums.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong here, but I think hitting the limit also means that any new drugs you get prescribed will also be free, assuming they're in the formulary. Not the ideal way to achieve this, obviously.
