Personal Consumer Issues • Ultra widescreen monitor for office use? (49"+)

At office I use a 49" curved ultrawide. Forgot the native resolution, probably 5120x2880, but at native resolution w/o scaling things are just a tad too small for me.

The 32:9 ratio is weird for a few reasons. You cant share the screen in meetings because unless the audience has a 32:9, they'll see things in miniature. You should share an app instead. Its easier if you have 2 physical screens and share 1 of the screens in full.

Its also a makes apps too narrow if you do 3x side-by-side, but too wide at 2x side-by-side.

At home I use a single 32" 16:9 and I also find that configuration quite odd.

Honestly, when I ran 2x physical monitors that was my favorite configuration. I dont mind the physical bezel. But people have very different opinions on this topic.
