I appreciate your comments, and I do get it, however, this is my concern. She is not accumulating;

Yes, she is. She's building equity in a house that's probably worth more than yours. She is building SS credits and at her pay grade, probably has a pension or 401k that her employer is contributing to.

Things are different now.
