Personal Finance (Not Investing) • What's your primary credit card?

Citi Costco (4% on Gas, restaurants), AMEX Blue cash preferred (6% on Groceries), and Fidelity card 2% for everything else.

For Costco gas cash back, is there a special way to use the card or just a simple tap on the RFID reader enough? It is embarrassing that I am so low tech and nobody at Costco would give me a definitely answer. Thus far, I just tap the card and assume I get a full 4% back. I prefer the BJ's method of immediate price discount but Costco gas is Tier One, which is critical in the junk ethanol era.
