Vanguard LifeStrategy is what I use, in my non-tax-advantaged account, with IBKR out of Ireland. Works fine, does what index funds are supposed to do, it’s easy to buy and hold and yes, I think the accumulating is a better choice. Of course I wish it were cheaper, but it’s the same MER as I pay on my Canadian Vanguard Asset Allocation fund so I’ll live with it. In Canada, iShares and Bank of Montreal offer identical all-in-one index funds as Vanguard, with similar fees and similar performance. In Europe, I haven’t found anything else.
As you can see in other threads here, Vanguard the U.S. company is on the avoid list for most of us due to rotten customer service, but a Vanguard ETF through another brokerage is just fine. If I had the choice, I’d buy an asset allocation ETF from another company just out of high dudgeon, but it’s fine.
Edit: I’m a one-trick pony. I own a Vanguard asset allocation fund in 3 jurisdictions, U.S., Canada and Ireland. So take my response and filter through your own investment plan. It makes my retirement decumulation very easy and I sleep well at night.
