Personal Finance (Not Investing) • Spit balling Medicare cost

I pay monthly (all are 2025 rates):

$185 Part B
$45 Medicare Supplement Plan G-HD
$0 Part D -WellCare Value Script

$230 Total

Medicare Supplement Plan G-HD is “high deductible”, but it’s really not high-deductible, it has a maximum out-of-pocket. There has been a lot of discussion in the group about Plan G-HD and it is worth looking into.
And do I understand correctly that I can not use HSA funds to reimburse Medicare Supplement premiums but can use HSA funds to reimburse the deductible and copays? Seems like with a healthy HSA balance the G-HD would be the way to go.

I am also a little unclear on changing between Supplement plans after initial enrollment. Switching from G-HD to G is not guaranteed and possibly higher rate depending on medical conditions?
