Many states are adding financial education as a high school graduation requirement.
Maybe I’m cynical and pessimistic, but I predict that “financial education” will consist of stock picking clubs and other non-BH oriented lessons. And, the students probably don’t get a free steak dinner :sharebeer
Sadly, this is kind of what I see if one goes beyond saving for retirement as a nebulous principle. While I do not see stock picking exactly except for a “fun” activity, paying for management is normalized in a “let the professionals do it for you” way (this is where the money making is anyway).
