I need help understanding the two most recent GE stock splits.
After the Aug 2, 2021 reverse split of 1:8 I had 45 shares remaining (also a payout in lieu of fractional shares, which is not relevant to my question).
For simplicity, I take all dividends in cash, not reinvested (ie no drip).
With 45 shares as of Aug 3, 2021, how many GE shares should I have as of Dec 27, 2024? 45 or 71?
