And, as usual, Total Bond Market Index did not meet the 50%-of-assets threshold to get a partial state tax exemption in CA/CT/NY; taxable investors in those states looking for an intermediate-term general bond fund should use the Intermediate-Term Bond Index which did meet it. (Better would be a Treasury fund, which avoids the state tax entirely.)
