Trust me, we're not living in a mansion. We just live in a very high cost of living area. That's the price of a 3 bedroom house that doesn't require updates in a location that doesn't require extremely long commutes for both of our jobs.You are a good candidate to retire much earlier than at 62, if you agree to downgrade the housing.
We're both fortunate to love our jobs, so not looking for an early exit at this point - but definitely continuing to save aggressively so we'll have options in case that changes.
