Investing - Theory, News & General • Retirees: at what age...?

I was thinking at what age do retirees plan to or have removed their shackles on spending? That is, you feel you are at a point/age in life that the clock is ticking and it's time to ramp up the spending.
As soon as I retire. That's kind of the point of retirement, to me at least: flipping the bird to corporate America and enjoying that money I've been building for so long. Of course common sense has to come into play in terms of how much, but if I'm retired, in general I'm not afraid to spend.
