You’re on the mountain for 5-7 days, so you get well acclimated, but altitude (even with meds) hits everyone differently so although you may be walking 3-5 hours/day other than summit day, it could be easy or quite hard. My children were 24 and 22, pretty athletic, and had no problem, but two guys my age were stopped by guides short of the top.
