So you want to sell your bonds at a loss at a time when they're quite reasonably priced, and instead buy stocks at a time when they're at a very high price? This classic buy-high sell-low behavior is not going to get you much of a retirement portfolio in the end.I want to get out of my bond fund FXNAX in my Fidelity accounts. It hasn't done well even in market downturn so far, but I'm $2K down in both Roth and TIRA.
Should I throw the bond fund monies into FXAIX or FZROX?
I don't think I want to hold bond funds anymore because I have a lot of cash in CDs.
I think I want to go straight S&P index funds from here on out being in my sixties, and leverage that with CDs.
I'm just dumb enough to be dangerous to myself.
