Anyone ever had their duct system redone/replaced? Did it help a bunch?

I did but my situation is different from yours. We went from a pair of conventional 240 VAC HVAC systems to a single natural gas system that required the replacement of all the ducts/registers in our house. Our electric bill went down immensely and our natural gas bill only went up slightly.
