Thank you again. Bombcar, your comments make us rest a bit easier regarding tenant's rent, but I will research local rents as suggested. We are considering moving into a 55+ community of condos, in lieu of renovating our half, but they are being snapped up for $700K - $900K for same size/2-car garage. Higher taxes, HOA fees, no rental income, etc. At our age, it may be a smart move, but we're hoping to get a few more years in our existing house. Or maybe move to a warmer climate to eliminate dealing with winter storm cleanup... but that's a different topic. Thanks again.
