I just requested a metro transit pass and had to send a copy of my driver's license. It was that or my passport. I think you're going to miss out on a lot if you're not willing to fork over ID.Side note: what kind of PII have you been required for these things? I get needing to verify this or that, but I'm also highly protective of such info and on a "need to know" basis. One site I saw asked for a photo copy of my driver's license. wth? So people without a driver's license can't buy your product?
