Personal Consumer Issues • Comprehensible Input for language acquisition

Occasionally I've seen that other Bogleheads are acquiring (or learning or studying or wanting to acquire) foreign languages.

Lately been upping my game after reading about Stephen Krashen's Input Hypotheses. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephen_Krashen

Although I have been "working on" my Spanish for many years--I've taken a class at a local community college and traveled extensively through Mexico, with visits to Spain and South America, plus work on Duolingo, etc.--the concept of comprehensible input has caused me recently to utilize Dreaming Spanish https://www.dreamingspanish.com/ and spending more of my energies on input (listening, YouTubes, audiobooks, reading, watching Spanish content) rather than output (speaking, writing).

I've recently become involved with a Crosstalk partner who lives near Madrid, and have found it phenomenal after just 3 or 4 Zoom meetings.

I have no particular goals other than to be a more bilingual person. (I've come to believe that second language activities are good for your mental health and activity!)

Anyone else involved with Dreaming Spanish, comprehensible input, or similar activities?
