That is only true if lower earning spouse's PIA is less than 50% of higher earning spouse's PIA. If higher than 50%, then absolutely there is a benefit to delaying till 70.
Right. His PIA is about 30% lower than mine.
30% of your benefit or 30% lower than your benefit?

If it’s 30% lower than yours, there is definitely a bereft of higher annual SS income.
