Investing - Theory, News & General • Market bubble?

Not too bogleish here, we are currently reallocating our taxable and tax deferred accounts in anticipation of starting 401 withdrawals next year. Part of that is moving the taxable account away from income producing assets in favor of growth but little distributions (gets in the way of tax planning, and we don't need this money to spend in the forseeable future). Currently about half of this account is in cash, and our goal is something like 75% equity, but I don't really have the heart to buy more S&P type things while the economy (but not the market) sputters. I went to 50% cash in 2008, but failed to recognize when to get back in. Maybe I'll do better this time, but surely looking at more diverse equity portfolio.
