Based only on the spending graphs shown above, it appears that there is almost no downside to going 100% stocks, and quite a big upside. So even if I was an extremely risk-averse person, I would conclude that I should choose risk tolerance 24, and go with 100% stocks.
A couple of thoughts.

The planner takes psychology out of the equation, which I think is a good aspect.

I think it can be true that 100% equities is the optimal asset allocation for some situation, including the one you show.

All of the allocations have a similar 5% baseline but higher 50 and 95 percentiles. It may be that high stock allocations have higher spending variation, but perhaps all of that variation is on the upside (higher spending)? I agree it would be interesting to somehow model individual historical spending patterns.
