1. YesI am considering jumping on an e-Trade transfer bonus. I've never done business with them before, so I have some questions before proceeding:
(1) Does e-Trade maintain the lot-level cost basis history when assets are transferred in from Vanguard?
(2) Can I transfer in mutual funds, such as VTSAX?
(3) Anything to be aware of? Would love to hear advice, lessons learned, etc. from others experiences with eTrade.

If you don't mind you can tax free conversation of vtsax to vti etf at vanguard so that you can keep doing this brokerage bonus for long
