This is a solid recommendation for equities in a portfolio. I guess if I was doing it I would add up all of the expense ratios and divide by 10 and just throw it out there.
example: here's how I divulge my own personal preference for equity proportion:
- 1/4 US large cap blendXLI
- 1/4 US large cap growth NULG
- 1/4 US small cap value XJR
- 1/4 Foreign developedAVSD
expense ratio =(0.08 +0.26 +0.12 +0.23)/4= 0.17
It's just a data point but you know, just throw it out there & hope for the best.![:)]( "Smile")
