Personal Investments • In What Form to Buy TIPS

At 66 years old (64 yo spouse) and no expected expenses beyond social security and pension income, I have no idea what my duration will be. I plan on using the TIPS Fidelity intermediate fund with distributions automatically reinvested. Overtime I expect to reduce my duration by adding to a short term TIPS funds. If real returns go negative I might turn off distribution reinvestments.

Anything longer than intermediate hopefully is served well by having significant investments in equities.
