Personal Finance (Not Investing) • Help a bureaucrat survive the government shutdown

I "invested" (or "bet" depending on one's outlook on prediction markets) that the shutdown will end by Nov 7. For the sake of those currently not getting paid or about to get their food aid cut off, I hope it is so. Unfortunately, only around 35% chance if the market is right.
I'm also pointing out that there are people speculating on people's lives this way and some full disclosure could be called for.
