I ignore asset allocation percentages.
And, why is it concerning to changed one's asset allocation. As I've stated elsewhere, I find choosing an asset allocation to be fairly arbitrary. Not scientific. So changing one's asset allocation could turn out to be a better one than one initially chose.
I just think of "money I need to protect" , vs. "money I can put at risk", and invest each accordingly.
