Thanks for your comments - haven't looked into the LLC as yet but will.
I have a feeling that if we do a trust for the NC property, it would make sense to just put the other properties in it but have no idea how difficult that may be - I assume it is just re-title each and pay a transfer fee and just let the insurance companies know.
