In my account, the maximum amount available to trade of uncleared funds remains the same after my regular one business day hold was extended to ten business days. You can trade *some amount* at their discretion, not the full amount. I had never been exposed to these 14 day holds (always <2days) until this week. I pulled 5 figures into fidelity without a thought, and they let me "trade" 1/3 of it each of the next 3 market days, did not let me trade the full amount, and I won't be able to withdraw a penny for 14 days. This is the new Fidelity, I guess. I was fully onboard the Fidelity CMA until now.
...but even when you pull you can trade with money immediately provided you haven't violated trust in the past (which we just learned one poster had done) or have some other special circumstance.
I'm more likely to encounter the limit now that the window of uncleared transfers is longer.
