Personal Finance (Not Investing) • [Problem with Vanguard agent authorization (split from Finding out your Power of Attorney is useless)]

Our trust attorney recommends against it.

I’d be curious what the attorney’s rationale is.

I'm not positive but I believe he was concerned about us possibly needing to get his agreement in order to make decisions for ourselves. I didn't question him too much about it. I just asked what he thought about it and he gave me his opinion which I respect. He knows a great deal more about Estate Law than I do and has a great deal more experience.
