The 2026 edition of FreeTaxUSA is already out. I use this in December, not for estimated payments, but to decide how much of a final Roth conversion to do before the end of the year. Then in January, when I have the final numbers available (even though the actual 1099-Rs haven't arrived yet) I do it again, and use that to make my final estimated tax payment in the second week of January.
For the first three estimated payments, I take the previous year's amount and divide by four. Then I adjust the final payment so that I owe a small amount on April 15.
