First, this site is meant to help people DIY, not to find a "good" advisor.
Second, there are SOOOO many "advisors" out there. I worked in the asset management business for 4 decades and never heard of these companies.
Third, I dont care about any details on these companies, even the best ones are a bad idea. They dont work for free, and they rarely would have anything useful to offer. If you dont know what funds to buy, buy Target date fund and the mutual fund managers will do what's needed at ultra low fees. His financial life cant be complex at his age and level of savings. He has plenty of time to read and learn basics that might alleviate any concerns driving consideration of an advisor. It is NOT that complicated.
