How's your vision and your hearing?I've lived in an active 55+ community coming up op three years. Never seen an ambulance here (although I'm sure there have been some).
I’m aware. I go golfing in such an active adult community. Ambulances every 15 minutes. Not a belief when I see/hear it.

FWIW, I've heard the same (i.e. lots of ambulances) at one of the mega 55+ communities where I have friends living. I guess it may depend on the size of the community and where in the community you live (if near an entrance and a large community, you might hear it more). This one I'm talking about is over 3000 houses.
My friends who live there like it because of the social aspect. They also have a restaurant and a clubhouse with lots of planned activities, so it's not the same as an HOA with amenities, it's a bit more.
FWIW, I live close to a hospital (not in a 55+ community though) and so I barely hear ambulances anymore.
