I’m going to guess you're not getting much of a response because your house hunt is months off and your schedule is vague. Last time I moved across the country, I contacted an agent in advance and set up a week for viewings. Without a specific agenda, they aren’t going to spend a lot of time on a lukewarm lead. Maybe set up an advance trip to sort out which neighborhoods to target, look at a few homes with the agent, and they can get a better idea of your needs. Then you can get down to business as your personal deadline approaches.
