If DR’s advice resonates with folks who need his brand of “tough love” to get out of debt, then that’s a positive. But for Ramsey to malign all physicians as being bad at finances because of their supposed innate hubris is a bit much.
I am around a lot of doctors, none of them are terrible at finances. Their mistakes tend to be bigger because they likely have more income/capital at stake. Doctors are also targeted by financial product peddlers not because they are dumb, but they are a worth more juice for the squeeze. Maybe the doctors who listen to Dave Ramsey are a bad representation of the group
