Personal Investments • Max Traditional or Roth IRA Contribution, 67 Years Old

Hi again. I'm again wondering if I should be and where to contribute to an IRA (if it even makes sense to contribute at all) for 2025.

If it's logical to do so, I'd be able to contribute the maximum $8,000 for 2025.

I'm now 68 years old, still working at the same W-2 position, and as mentioned earlier receiving Social Security benefits and on Medicare.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Look back at the previous replies and evaluate how your 2025 income fits in the with income thresholds. Once again, you didn’t post enough information to get a definitive answer.
