Non-US Investing • Revising portfolio for possible renunciation of US citizenship, in 10-20 years? (dual-citizen with Poland)

You did not mention how much you have already saved up, which is important for exit tax implications. Also, inheritance taxes for anything above 60k is a flat 40% for Non-Citizens. Between these two factors you would be better off keeping US citizenship than giving it up in most cases. If you can save 100k/yr, I assume you already have or will have significant assets. People who do not have US citizenship, relocate their assets to a different domicile which is tax and inheritance friendly in the country they want to move to eventually.

Curious ... Why do you want to give up US citizenship? Especially when Poland allows dual citizenship.
