Go with VPMAX(Vanguard Primecap Admiral)We are reviewing our investments and have very reasonable confidence our future expenses (30 years) will covered without dipping to our Roth accounts. So would like to choose a single fund to "set and forget" for a legacy. Currently these accounts are 75/25, but now considering a more aggressive approach, including options that are perhaps even more aggressive than the SP500.
Fidelity's Contrafund, FCNTX, seems to be an option with a long track history. We fully understand that active funds, even with great history, do not "beat the market" forever. We prefer a broader maket fund rather than "alternative" investments or a concentrated bet on a single industry such as "AI".
What are some other one-fund options to consider?
