Horizon is, all business combined, the biggest health insurer in NJ. You would have been fine with either one.When I was researching in NJ this was a major factor in my decision to go with UHC. They are the largest Medicare supplement insurer in NJ by far. BS/BS is second but really is small compared to UHC. Just my opinion but I think she steered you in the right direction.As an update to my original post:
Chatted with the local agency. She said she would write practically anything I wanted but as an advisor she heavily encouraged the 2 biggies around here: BCBS(HUGE in Illinois) and UHC(AARP).
What happens in the future, who knows!
