Academic here, read Bogleheads and WCI (and WoCS) every day. And many of the older, archived WCI posts were my main primer for understanding the nuts and bolts of putting a Boglehead investment approach into action. Plenty of overlap in typical advice given across sites, though it's helpful to see some different approaches as well. Nevertheless, the overarching philosophical approach is almost identical.
And as a psychologist, I find the work-life discussions and advice on both sites invaluable, and applicable across professions. It's mostly b/c of these sites that I am well past my number and lined up to retire in 18 months, age 54. Thanks, Jim, you are making a tangible difference in people's lives. Keep up the good work!
