I used to say that if I won the lottery, I’d fly private. I have since adjusted that because of the wasteful use of fossil fuel that flying a jet for the benefit of one passenger is. So, no more lottery.
There are valid and justifiable reasons for flying, but flying private unnecessarily is not one, and neither is a desire to fly every route. Just my 2 cents.
Maybe rather than tallying dollar costs, you should tally how many gallons of jet fuel you would be responsible for wasting.
