I vote that if you're not stretching your budget into your emergency funds to buy this PC, which wouldn't make any sense to do for an entertainment/gaming PC, then just buy what you want and pay the few hundred dollars markup. Waiting and betting on uncertain price movements for several months would drive me nuts and take up too much mental space, life is short and you won't get any time back. As an electronics enthusiast, it's sort of known that gadgets are rapidly depreciating assets that burn chunks of cash frequently for upgrades, and there are cheaper hobbies out there that can be taken up if a few hundred dollars is a concern.
