I arrive at Hamad International Airport at 4:30 PM and have a 9½-hour layover. I’m thinking about taking the 20-minute metro into the city and am looking for suggestions on a good area in Doha for dinner (nothing fancy) and walking around for a few hours.
I won’t be checking my luggage. Does anyone know if there’s a place to securely store luggage at Hamad International? I’m flying out of DOH on Qatar Airways and am wondering whether they offer luggage storage for a few hours. I’ll also be traveling with someone who has an American Express Platinum Card, so if that provides any useful airport or lounge options, I’d appreciate any recommendations.
