I don't know if there's a law, but I'm sure there's a corporate policy involved.Whenever I talk to my broker at T. Rowe Price or Fidelity, they tell me it is against the law for them to talk to me about my personal income tax situation. But, neither of them is telling me what law is stopping them from talking to me about my taxes.
Does anyone know the specific law or regulation that is stopping my investment advisors from talking to me about my persona taxes?
