Yes my IBKR account allowed me to buy/sell stocks, mutual funds, treasuries etc. without issues from abroad. Yes easy to link bank account to IBKR and transfer funds back and forth. I haven't found any accountant in US, but there are some accountants in the foreign country who specialize in US taxation.
