Here is what seems to be an issue, there are to questions about the money going into the Roth from the IRA.
Which one do I choose?

#1
Is this a Roth conversion?

Yes
No
Did you convert part or all of this distribution from a traditional IRA to a Roth IRA?
Or traditional SEP/SIMPLE to a Roth SEP/SIMPLE.
This is not the same as recharacterizing.
Enter how much of this distribution of $70,000 you converted from a traditional IRA to a Roth IRA: ____________
If you have any IRA contributions, you'll enter those later. We need that information to update the taxable amount of your distribution.

#2
Is this a rollover?

Yes
No
Did you roll over part or all of this distribution into a traditional IRA or another qualified retirement account within 60 days of receiving this distribution?
Hi SCM,
I am facing a similar issue. What were your answers to above questions in FreeTax? I am getting a bigger refund and it doesn't seem right. Thanks
