My elderly father (who was a electrical engineer) would call me constantly over a series of years because his WiFi printer would have connections issues. Finally just wired it up with a really long USB cable because of the way his office was configured, it basically stopped all his issues.I'm a huge believer in "If it doesn't move like a desktop computer, set-top box, video game console, printer, camera, wire it. If it's mobile like a phone or tablet, Wi-Fi is a last resort, but at least select the proper channel, signal strength, and channelization."
