Personal Investments • Non-traditional Investment Vehicles [tax-deferred accounts maxed, where to invest next?]

For 401k and 403b, I would consider doing all Pre-Tax (Traditional).
Definitely considered. I expect we'll be in the 22%-24% tax area for some time, which generally produces mixed opinions on roth/trad approach. My current stance is that what's important (for this year) is just maxing these accounts in general, and I would plan to re-evaluate the split and if we should continue doing it when next year comes around depending on income outlook etc. I wouldn't expect these splits to make too much difference down the road, but please correct me if I'm wrong; I am pretty new to this and an eager student!
