Thanks I actually had the estate plan done by a lawyer who is actually one of poster on this board. However the lawyer was out of state so this part needed to be done by a IL lawyer. While I did not have problems with the lawyer the IL lawyer they sub to do the il part was super slow. They promised to get someone else but I was concerned over a repeat of the issue. I could just look up who they are going to use and just go through them.That wouldn't be a fit for a good trusts and estates lawyer unless you were already a client. The lawyer who handled the purchase would probably be a better fit for that, or some other lawyer who handles residential real estate....
I can’t find reference but essentially to assign my house deed to a trust. I will look up the firms you mentioned thanks.
