Personal Finance (Not Investing) • Credit Utilization and CC Closing Date

My wife and I have all our credit cards paid automatically in full on or before the due date.
Sometimes a card may have a balance of a few hundred dollars and sometimes several thousand. I don’t know what our available credit line is for all our cards but it is a lot compared to the balances we normally have at the end of each billing cycle.
We get alerts to say our credit scores changed now and then, usually after a large credit card balance posts or when it is paid.
At first I thought oh oh my credit score has changed but when I look at the score it really didn’t change that much and remains in the highest range.
So to me it really doesn’t matter as it would not affect my credit worthiness not that we would be taking on any new credit except for credit cards existing or future.
I can see how it might affect others though.
