1) Don't buy computers on Amazon.
2) If they aren't using network software, they aren't sharing the Quickbooks.
3) That tiny computer needs a standalone hard drive.
4) Why do they need a laptop?
Why not buy computers on Amazon?

Yes. Not using any network software. All it needs to do is reside on one computer to be used.

I did not know that the tiny computers had no hard drive. Never got that far to investigate them. If that is the case then will not be considered.

They don't need a laptop today. But spending $200 for a quality used one that is a great value can turn into a good investment.
I think buying anything of value on Amazon is risky, for a few reasons:

- Not always easy to confirm what you are buying is authentic or new
- Returns can be risky, Amazon can do a charge back months later claiming something was missing or they couldn't find the item
- Amazon doesn't price match a lower sale price within the return window like most other retailers do, your only option is to return the item and rebuy it (meaning your exposed to return risk with Amazon)
- Amazons prices are at best usually only about equal to big box electronics retailers, and in rare cases when shipped and sold by Amazon prices are actually better (not often, in my experience) the other retailers will usually match it

If I'm buying something low cost, sure, Amazon is fine for that
