Congrats on reviving a 2011 zombie thread! I had to chuckle when I saw ccleaner mentioned. Brings back memories.I've come to love LocalSend. It's free, open-source, and cross platform. Extremely lightweight program. It makes sharing files/photos between your phone, laptop, tablet, etc a breeze! It's essentially 'AirDrop' for all your devices. Since I discovered LocalSend, I no longer have to email myself files to get them from one device to another.
